Anthony QUINN - Lettre adressée à l'acteur par un certain Kenneth MORRIS, collectionneur d'autographes américain âgé de 16 ans, le 5 octobre 1960. Kenneth MORRIS lui explique qu'il collectionne les autographes des acteurs et actrices qui ont été nommés pour un Oscar et lui demande s'il peut lui envoyer un autographe :

"Because of my great interest in the motion picture industry I collect the autographs of the actors and actresses who have been nominated for an Oscar. Knowing you to have won the award for your performances in Viva Zapata ! et Lust For Life and to have also been nominated for your performance in Wild Is The Wind I would greatly appreciate it if you would send me either your autographed picture or your autograph".

Anthony Quinn a signé au stylo bille noir au bas de la page "Regards, Anthony Quinn".

En octobre 1960 l'acteur vient de terminer le tournage en Europe de l'un de ses films les plus célèbres : Les Canons de Navarone (Guns Of Navarone). Deux ans plus tard il tournera Lawrence d'Arabie (Lawrence Of Arabia) et quatre ans après Zorba le Grec (Zorba The Greek).
